What is IT asset management (ITAM)?
IT asset management is keeping an accurate record of every company device: what it is, its serial number, who has it, where it is and what state it is in. Good records stop devices from going missing, show how many spares you really have, and make audits and offboarding straightforward.
What information do you track for each device?
For each device we record the serial number, model and specifications, your asset tag, the employee and location it is assigned to, and its status, such as in stock, deployed or returned. You can see stock levels and serial numbers for your local fleet at any time.
What happens to a laptop when an employee leaves?
We arrange a secure door-to-door pickup anywhere in the Philippines. Back at our warehouse the device is inspected, data-wiped if you request it, cleaned and returned to stock, and its record is updated so it is ready to assign to the next hire.
Can returned devices go straight to new hires?
Yes. Devices in good condition are re-provisioned with your image and asset tag and shipped from our local warehouse, which cuts the cost and waiting time of buying new for every hire.
Is IT asset management different from IT hardware management?
